A Unique Getaway
A mini excursion to the Galápagos – yes, I know this sounds like a weird start but this is technically true when you are visiting from Ecuador, which was the case. We stayed at Finch Bay in Isla Santa Cruz but didn’t neglect to do the mandatory ferry adventure rides to nearby islands for swimming with sharks and the likes. At the Darwin Station we even managed to see Lonesome George, the famous 100 year-old Pinta tortoise & rarest creature in the world, before he died.
Although we agreed the destination is somewhat overrated, it was nonetheless a once in a lifetime getaway, too exciting not to mention.
