Yes, here is something you don’t know about me, since it dates back to the pre-internet-for-all times: I am a textile designer. Starting my own furnishing fabrics line, aptly titled Alexandra Prints, is the first thing I did after coming back to Greece from my studies. The collections were designed by me and hand-printed in the UK. It was an interesting experiment that brought along some serious publicity and a relative professional success. That said, I had no idea on the business realities of the venture so, invariably, at some point I got bored of it and moved on to pursue other design-related thrills. Most of the designs are sold-out but there are still a few rolls available.
