The Artists

Eleanna Martinou

Athens-born Eleanna Martinou enjoys critical as well as popular acclaim. In her work, the situationist drift is the structural element behind the construction of images where multiple layers of events create a mesh of intersecting trajectories, whose densities increase or decrease like in music. In her own words, she is interested in the boundless construction of the planet and the emergence of the contemporary metropolis, and its ominous evolution into a dense mesh expanding in all directions. Eleanna is attempting a mapping of chaos through artistic means. She has exhibited solo and in group exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Mexico, Croatia, France, Turkey and Latin America.

Pure Evil

A pioneering force in the contemporary street art world, British artist Pure Evil is one of the UK’s Street Art influencers, enjoying international acclaim for his avant-garde antics.
The “nightmares” series is inspired by iconic Pop Art imagery and celebrity culture, at the same time resonating emotions every person experiences in the course of their life.
From the UK to the USA, from Brazil to South Africa, Sydney to Hong Kong, Russia to Australia – to name just a few – Pure Evil has exhibited his work around the world, in solo and group exhibitions, in galleries, cultural institutes, auction houses and museums.
Today, Pure Evil enjoys the success of a street artist as global brand.

Jim Dallas

Upcoming young Greek artist Jim Dallas works across a wide range of media but he is noted for his large, sensual abstract expressionist canvasses. Characterised by explosive colour and passionate brushworks, his work is vividly contemporary. Bold colour compositions, symbols and abstract patterns are employed by the artist in his quest to explore issues, ideas, and the spectrum of emotions the contemporary individual experiences. Dallas uses a hands-on approach in his painting, every time immersing himself in the act, often getting so lost in the process that he creates his art automatically, thus making every artwork a highly charged manifestation of a personal quest. He is especially concerned about the viewer’s interpretation, the emotional response and the feelings the works stir-up in him, considering this to be an integral part of the artistic experience.

Vassilis Karakatsanis

Based in Athens but constantly on the move, Vassilis Karakatsanis is the archetypal prolific artistic, sought after internationally. His thematic choices and personal artistic vocabulary are informed by his experience and observation of the surrounding world. There is a strong theatrical attitude in his approach, transforming the mundane every day objects into structural elements of his work. He uses a clean and rich colour palette along with vivid contrasts and sensitively researches the limits between reality and illusion.

He has exhibited his work in solo shows in Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Indonesia, Germany and Ecuador, and participated in numerous group exhibitions and Art Fairs internationally. His artworks, for which he has received several awards and distinctions, can be found in private and public collections, as well as in Museums and Cultural Foundations around the world.
